"HF repairs Homes of Hope"

On November 14, the executives and staff at the Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF) volunteered with "Repair Homes of Hope", a campaign by the Habitat for Humanity to improve the living conditions of low-income people.

HF's Bogeumjari Volunteer Group visited Yeonpung-ri, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do that had suffered the flood damage last year and engaged in various activities to improve their living conditions such as rearranging furniture, upgrading toilets, replacing wallpapers and floor coverings and painting.

HF also held an event to raise a fund depending on the number of comments posted on the website in the theme of "social responsibility activity for sharing happiness" and donated the fund (roughly KRW 5 million) to the Habitat for Humanity Korea for the cost of material purchasing and facility repairing.

"We hope that our neighbors suffering from hardships will stand up again in a better environment," said Sun-kwang Kim, director of the customer value management division, who participated in the volunteer work. "We will actively promote social responsibility activities in which customers can participate together."
