- KHFC executives and staff host special event to celebrate Family Month on the first week of May  

On May 4, 2010, the executives and staff of Housing Finance (KHFC, CEO Joo-jae Lim) hosted a special event jointly with the Child Fund Korea for families with children living with their grandparents at the Lake Park in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do Province.  

KHFC executives and staff tied carnation flowers on the chest of grandparents and presented gifts to children in celebration of Parent’s Day and Children’s Day. After the presentation, the participants had lunch together and visited the Goyang International Flower Fair. 

“I am pleased to deliver these gifts to our neighbors in need using the funds donated by KHFC executives and staff,” said Vice President Eung-ryeol Tae. “Rather than lending a helping hand only on special occasions, let’s help people in need on a regular basis to live up to KHFC’s vision of being a partner for life for low-income people.” 

Meanwhile, KHFC executives and staff will visit the Yangcheon Senior Center on May 6, 2010 to donate 250 sacks of rice and deliver supplies to unsupported elderly people living in solitude. On May 7, 2010, the day before Parent’s Day, they will also visit Chocheon 2-ri village in Eumseong Town, with whom they have established sisterhood ties, to help elderly farmers plant pepper seedlings and have a good time with the town residents.
