HF Holds the 2021 Housing Finance Conference

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Choi Joon-Woo) stated on November 23, 2021, that it will hold the 2021 Housing Finance Conference at Conrad Seoul in Yeouido, Seoul, on December 1, 2021. The conference aims to offer a platform for in-depth discussions on measures to further advance housing finance throughout the future.

The conference will kick off with a keynote speech entitled ‘Digital Housing Finance: A Leap Towards A New Paradigm’ by Professor Jung Yoo-Shin of Sogang University’s Graduate School of Business. Comprising two sessions, it will also offer two thematic presentations: ▲ ‘The Current Status and Challenges of Non-Face-to-Face Financial Services’ by CEO Kim Jin-Kyung of Big Value (Session I) and ▲ ‘The Current Status and Prospects of the Real Estate Market from a Big Data Perspective’ by CEO Hong Chun-Wook of EAR Research (Session II). 

Opening with the above thematic presentation, Session I will also feature a panel discussion presided over by Professor Park Su-Yong of Sogang University’s Department of Computer Science & Engineering. The discussion will be joined by CEO Kim Tae-Hoon of fintech firm Bank Salad and other panelists. The following Session II will also feature the above thematic presentation and a panel discussion. The discussion will be presided over by Professor Kim Kyung-Min of Seoul National University’s Graduate School of Environmental Studies and joined by Research Fellow Ko Je-Heon of HF Korea Housing Finance Research Institute and real estate market experts, including Ham Young-Jin, Head of the Big Data Lab at Zigbang, the nation’s leading home-matching platform.

applicants will be able to watch the live-stream video of the event via HF’s official YouTube channel. Participation at the venue is open only to invited guests, including HF officials, the speakers, and presenters, due to the COVID-19 restrictions.

We hope that this will serve as an inspiring platform where the participants discuss various creative ideas and views for the promising future of housing finance.”
