HF Inks MOU with HUG for Audit Excellence 

- MOU aims to bolster audit capacity and build a culture of integrity  

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, Executive Auditor Kim Jun-Il) announced on October 27, 2021, that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG, Executive Auditor Noh Yung-Gi) to jointly strengthen their audit capacity and create a culture of integrity <see image below>.

The MOU outlines related cooperative measures, including ▲ exchanging audit information and personnel to improve their audit operations, ▲ building a joint pool of audit personnel and system of joint regular training, ▲ sharing information to ensure their auditors’ professional skills, and ▲ establishing a culture of anti-corruption and integrity.

An HF officer commented, “This MOU aims to combine the efforts of our two institutions to share our different audit methodologies and thereby improve our audit performance and solidify the culture of anti-corruption and integrity pursued by both institutions.”

HF Executive Auditor Kim Jun-Il said, “I hope HF and HUG will be able to leverage this MOU to reinforce their audit, anti-corruption, and integrity capacity, thus improving their management efficiency and leading social value creation.”
