HF Wins the President's Prize for Anti-Corruption Efforts

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Lee Jung-Hwan) announced on February 27, 2018, that it has been named the best anti-corruption agency at the 6th Civil Rights' Day ceremony held in Sejong City and awarded the President's Prize.

HF has promoted corruption-reporting at its Retirees' Finance Academy and its consultation sessions with businesses seeking guaranteed loans and has carried out anti-corruption training, particularly on whistleblower protection. It has also established an anti-corruption implementation task force team. Furthermore, it has continued its efforts to fight corruption by forming a partnership with the Busan Public-Private Network for a Transparent Society and jointly carrying out an integrity-cluster drive.

HF CEO Lee Jung-Hwan said, "Civil servants are called to an increasingly higher standard of integrity. HF will renew itself into an agency that contributes to raising the awareness of integrity through its internal efforts and its collaboration with private-sector organizations."

In the meantime, HF was ranked first among 573 public agencies in the 2017 integrity assessment conducted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission and was also rated the best-performing agency in the Commission's 2017 anti-corruption program evaluation.
