HF Tops the 2017 Public Sector Transparency Index


- HF recognized for its outstanding transparency eight years in a row


Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Kim Jae-Chun) announced on the 7th that it topped the 2017 Public Sector Transparency Index released by the Anti-Corruption & Civil Rights Commission. 


The Commission assessed 573 public agencies and institutions, including central governmental organizations, local governments, local offices of education, and other public organizations, using user surveys, etc. It released the results on the 6th.


HF has established its Anti-Corruption Committee and has been implementing a range of anti-corruption efforts. Thanks to such efforts, it earned 8.98 points on the 1 to 10 scale and was ranked first among the 573 public agencies. HF's score is 1.04 points higher than the average score (7.94 points).  


HF CEO Kim Jae-Chun said, “We were able to take the No. 1 spot thanks to the strenuous anti-corruption efforts made by our staff. As the most transparent agency in the public sector, we will take the lead in spreading transparency.”


The Index recognized HF for its first-grade transparency in 2016 and has also honored it for its outstanding transparency eight years in a row.
