HF Holds the 4th Research Paper Competition on Housing Finance
- Grand Prize awarded to a paper on how to manage the losses incurred by a reverse mortgage guarantor
Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Kim Jae-Chun) stated on the 5th that it held the 4th Undergraduate (Graduate) Student Research Paper Competition.
During the Competition held from May 29 through December 5, 2017, students were invited to submit papers on the development of the housing market and the housing finance market. HF selected one Grand Prize Award winner, two Excellence Award winners, and two Participation Award winners after its internal and external screening process.
Kim Je-Woo, a Sungkyunkwan University student, won the Grand Prize for his paper on how to manage the losses incurred by a reverse mortgage guarantor.
HF awarded a total of five papers, ▲ one Grand Prize winner (prize of KRW 5 million), ▲ two Excellence Award winners (prize of KRW 2 million each), and ▲ two Participation Award winners (prize of KRW 500,000 each). The winners will also receive preferential treatment once if they apply for a position in HF within three years from their receipt of the award.
