HF Leads a Clean-Up Campaign
- HF gives back by joining hands with Busan Hope Light to carry out a clean-up activity around Busan Station
Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Kim Jae-Chun) announced on November 14, 2017, that it carried out a clean-up activity around Busan Station jointly with Busan Hope Light, a charity organization based in the city.
As part of the charity organization's 'Hope Raising' program, HF joined in cleaning streets near Busan Station and sorting recycled items. The Hope Raising program aims to help the homeless get back on their feet by supporting them in earning technical certifications and offering them short-term jobs.
An HF official said, “It gave us a meaningful opportunity to give back to the local community. We will continue to fulfill our social responsibility and contribute to the development of the local community.”
HF has participated in various social contribution activities in Busan since it relocated its headquarters to the city. These activities include offering senior citizens special meals on the nation's traditional holidays as well as Hangul lessons and improving living conditions in the city.
