HF Launches Its Job Creation Committee

The HF Job Dream Committee and its Implementation Task Force hold their first meeting

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Kim Jae-Chun) has launched its job creation committee into action.

HF said on October 16, 2017, that the Job Dream Committee and its Implementation Task Force held their first meeting with CEO Kim Jae-Chun and HF employees in attendance.

At the meeting, the participants discussed what tasks need to be accomplished to contribute to job creation, which is at the top of the government's policy agenda. They also shared opinions on how to become a public-sector institution that takes the lead in the division of roles between the private and public sectors and job creation. Through the meeting, they decided to focus the concentrated effort of the entire enterprise on the key tasks identified.

The key tasks include ▲ converting HF's non-regular positions to regular ones, ▲ facilitating private-sector job creation relating to HF's core businesses, ▲ creating jobs for the local community, ▲ and creating jobs through new business development.

HF CEO Kim Jae-Chun said, “We will contribute to the development of the nation's economy by creating decent jobs through our Job Dream Committee.”

The Job Dream Committee and its Implementation Task Force were launched last month to play a pump-priming role for job creation in the private sector and realize social values by converting HF's non-regular positions to regular ones. The Committee is chaired by HF's CEO.
