HF Opens Recruitment for the Second Half of the Year


- Photo, academic background, date of birth fields eliminated


HF is beginning its recruitment for the second half of the year.


Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, CEO Kim Jae-Chun) announced on the 28th that it will hire new employees using open, competency-based recruitment based on the National  Competency Standard (NCS).


More specifically, it will hire 22 college graduates or those with similar qualifications for 19 administrative positions and three information systems positions. It will also set aside over 35% of the new positions for those who are not from the Seoul metropolitan area.


In addition, it will adopt a ‘blind recruitment’ system, eliminating background information fields in its resume form, such as photo, date of birth, and academic background as part of its efforts to promote fairness in recruitment and evaluating applications mainly based on their competency. 


HF will receive applications through October 18, 2017, at its webpage (hf.incruit.com), and the finalists selected through resume screening, a written test, and an interview will begin working at HF at the end of December. 


An HF official said, “We are planning to hire talents most suitable to our firm through the competency-based blind recruitment process. And those finally selected will be hired as regular employees without going through an internship.”


HF is going to hold job fairs at Busan National University, Yonsei University, Hanyang University, Chungnam National University, and Chonnam National University, and the details of the job fairs can be found at its recruitment webpage.
